Outcome
To enable the nurse to increase knowledge of perioperative glucose management, Acute pain management in patients with opioid use disorders, prevention of urinary frequency and bladder retention in relation to fluid management, and multimodal pain management techniques for surgical patients and pregnant women with chronic opioid use.
Overall Program Objective
Discuss topics of clinical significance for the perianesthesia nurse.
This activity has been submitted to the American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses for approval to award contact hours. American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
